Arendalsuka is Norway’s largest annual political gathering, bringing together politicians, businesses, NGOs, academia, and the public for five days of open debate, collaboration, and democratic engagement in the heart of Arendal.

Arendalsuka continues to be a powerful arena for shaping the future of sustainability, and this year, Repass was proud to contribute to several key events that brought together industry leaders, public sector representatives, and innovators. We were invited to present at sessions hosted by GS1 Norway and Klimapartnere, sharing our work on digital product passports, traceability, and scalable climate solutions.

Digital Product Passports and Trust in a Changing Landscape

At GS1 Norway’s event on Traceability and Sustainability, we joined Hanne Haslum from BRAV—representing Swix, Helsport, Ulvang, Lundhags, and Toko—to present insights from our collaboration on digital product passports. In a time of increasing geopolitical complexity and tightening regulatory requirements, we emphasized how digital traceability and interoperability are becoming essential for compliance, competitiveness, and transparency. With the EU’s Single Market Strategy and upcoming sustainability regulations, the shift from intention to implementation is more urgent than ever. Our message was clear: standards, technology, and collaboration across value chains are key to building trust and delivering verified sustainability.

Pitching Practical Climate Solutions with Klimapartnere

Repass was also invited to contribute to the launch of Den Grønne Løsningsbanken, an initiative by Klimapartnere that showcases implementable climate solutions from over 400 organizations across sectors. We presented how our tools for digital transparency and traceability can be applied in practice—not just discussed in theory. The session highlighted the importance of lifting up solutions that are ready to be used by businesses today, especially as demands for documented sustainability grow from both markets and regulators.

Why Arendalsuka Matters

Beyond the stage, Arendalsuka offered rich opportunities for dialogue, networking, and learning. We met passionate changemakers, exchanged ideas, and built new relationships that will help shape our path forward. The week reminded us that real progress happens when people come together across sectors to share, challenge, and co-create.

Looking Ahead

We are deeply thankful to GS1 Norway, Klimapartnere, and all our partners for the invitations and collaboration. Arendalsuka 2025 showed us that sustainable solutions are not only necessary—they are already being built. With the right tools and partnerships, they’re also possible and profitable.
