Transformation Talks Borås: Transparency for Workwear and Outdoor

Recently, Repass teamed up with Scandinavian MIND for the first-ever Transformation Talks Borås, part of Retail Day hosted by Marketplace Borås.
The conversation explored how transparency and long-term supplier relationships evolve from operational concerns into strategic assets, especially for workwear and outdoor brands navigating the demands of sustainability, circularity, and new regulations. Rather than viewing these challenges as overwhelming, the panel highlighted a practical, hands-on approach rooted in long-term thinking, shared responsibility, and smarter use of existing data. It’s a mindset shift — from compliance to value creation — where sustainability becomes not a burden, but a driver of innovation and regeneration.

Fanny Ekholm, CSR Manager at Didriksons, Ann Carlsson, CSR & Environment Manager at Blåkläder and Sara M. Rakstang, Founder & CEO of Repass was on stage, and Konrad Olsson, Editor-in-chief and founder of Scandinavian MIND moderated the conversation.
Together, they explored how:
- Long-term supplier partnerships enable deeper transparency and smoother collaboration.
- Scalable circularity depends on integration into core business models.
- Existing data can be turned into strategic value — if structured and used right.
- New regulations like the Digital Product Passport are driving internal transformation.
- Starting small and testing is the most effective way forward.
Listen in on the conversation from Borås to hear about concrete examples, lessons learned, and how forward-thinking brands are turning compliance into a competitive edge.
